CRONIMET commenced operations in the United States in September 1997, as the CRONIMET Corporation. Within six months CRONIMET opened additional processing facilities in Houston, TX, and Chicago, IL; and formed a joint venture in Linden, NJ.

Our New Jersey facility is exclusively involved in the processing and trading of tungsten carbide raw materials.

CRONIMET established an additional processing facility in Decatur, AL. in 1998 and in March of 2000 opened CRONIMET Brazil, in Sao Paulo, to strategically link it's US and international businesses.

As part of our constant commitment to quality management, CRONIMET achieved ISO 9002 certification in less than 18 months after incorporation.
